When you work, you get paid. Who owns that pay you just earned? President Barack Obama gave a speech recently at Northern Virginia Community College where he told us who he thinks owns what we earn… With all of the media attention to Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama’s hot microphone with Dmitri Medvedev, the Romney etch-a-sketch comment and the fugazi war on women, there have been far too many distractions to focus on some serious issues that impact our lives now and our futures… Cities all across America are getting dying because of the bloated pensions, benefits and salaries of their unionized government workers. Just look at San Diego, Chicago and Los Angeles, where you can be a librarian with a pension of over $230,000, or retire with a $500,000 buyout of your “sick days,” or be a convicted kid-touching felon and still receive your government pension.

With the likes of President Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi and on and on ranting about paying one’s “fair share,” are they ever asked any questions about the way things really work in America? They need to be challenged, because the false picture they paint of America is nonsense… Volunteers all over America are saving city and state governments billions of dollars – and during a recession it’s much needed and very welcome. At least, that’s what you would think. Not everyone is too happy, though… It’s not just Greece where government workers retire at age 50 – Fairfax County is a just in a long line of mini-Greeces in America. Fairfax County is a double-dippers heaven.

War on Women Continues, more Bank Bailouts and a New Mortgage Lender – the USDA

The Democrats, along with the mainstream media, continue this nonsense about the “war on women.” The new attacks are on Rush Limbaugh – even on the House floor – because of comments Limbaugh made about Georgetown Law School student Sandra Fluke (for which he has since apologized). Even President Barack Obama jumped in the mix, saying he did it for his daughters (which I guess he forgot to do when Bill Maher called Sarah Palin the “c-word.”)… Gas prices continue to go up, but isn’t that the plan Obama and Stephen Chu had all along?… Another one of Obama’s “green economy investments” goes sour – Abound Solar… Fannie Mae needs MORE bailout money, and the FHA isn’t far behind, as the bailouts continue… Another possible bailout is the USDA. Why bail out the USDA? Because the USDA is also a mortgage lender. More taxpayer money at risk because of the government.

America continues down the path of deeper and deeper dependency. Contrary to those misinformed emails you keep getting, most of the money spent in DC is not for the military – it’s given to other Americans. Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, food stamps (now called SNAP), welfare and the other more than 70 means-tested welfare programs are nearly three quarters of the federal budget. According to a study by the Heritage Foundation, 67.3 million people now rely on some federal program. What’s been President Obama’s solution? To put this system on steroids – dependence on government assistance went up 23% in just his first two years in office… Government workers in the city of D.C. collected unemployment, while still employed by the city… With such massive deficits and mounting debt that’s increasing faster than the speed of light, it’s a good thing our government is focused on improving the economy by spending millions of dollars on programs that tell us not to drink soda and not to eat food like the wonderful Twinkie… One thing rarely asked by someone on the Left is “then what?” Tune in to find out the “then what?” when an illegal immigrant from Haiti was allowed to stay in America – after getting out of prison because of two felonies.

With President Obama and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius bossing around religious institutions and health insurance companies, Senators Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray and Kirsten Gillibrand are spearheading a movement, stating you are waging a war on women if you do not want to provide all women with “free” contraception (birth control pills, sterilizations, the morning after pills, IUDs, etc.). Meanwhile, has any one bothered to ask them about free lunches, or 1st amendment protections, this new-found shortage of contraceptives, to explain how a free lunch actually does exist or how it can be one person’s right to have control over what another person has earned… The news coverage of Whitney Houston’s death has been non-stop, but maybe the media is missing out on other important things in life… Samuel L. Jackson said he vote for President Barack Obama because Obama was black.

First it was the banks and GM and Chrysler. But, now, underwater homeowners will be getting bailed out – if President Barack Obama gets his way. But what’s the real reason behind this bailout?… Another one of Obama’s “green investments” files for bankruptcy. And, his goals for green jobs training result in miserable failure… The Democrats continue to beat the “fair share”drum, with the leader of the orchestra being Obama – even though he has members of his own executive staff that owe back taxes… A bill is making its way through the House of Representatives to prevent people from using their welfare checks (debit cards) at nudie bars and other fine establishments of that sort.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid joins them and is promising votes to raise taxes on “the rich.” Karl Marx would be so proud… The DoddFrank bill has a little-known rule in it – with the purpose of shaming CEOs… Six Democrats in the House of Representatives (Dennis Kucinich, John Conyers, Bob Filner, Marcia Fudge, Jim Langevin and Lynn Woolsey) have put forth their latest mastermind idea: an “Unreasonable Profits Board.” All this class warfare is just a smokescreen to distract us from the disastrous job our government has done.

Imagine a job where you show up and do nothing – yet get paid $400k. Oh, and massive benefits, a bloated pension, and even a retirement annuity on top of all that. That’s the life some union members have – with taxpayers footing the bill. How, exactly, does this scam by unions help working families? What’s worse is when you see unions doing it at ground zero… What are you most afraid of? Big corporations? If so, were corporations forcefully sterilizing Americans in the 1900′s?… With how incompetent our gov’t is, you can actually get find for not buying a product that doesn’t even exist… Our Treasury Department loves to brag about any initiative where they don’t screw up. But, when the do mess up, don’t hold your breath on those press releases… The IRS wants more of your money – but not the way you think… Should everyone vote? How informed are most voters?

President Barack Obama’s dictatorial presidency continues as he makes “recess appointments” – three to the NLRB and Rob Cordray to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This follows a long line of legislative failures (Cap N Trade, the DREAM Act, Net Neutrality, Card Check, etc.) that are now being implemented by the administrative state… Wouldn’t it be great if you could take vacations on private jets and not have to pay for them? Ignoring the fact that you harp on and on about being “green” and reducing your carbon footprint? Must be nice to be Queen Michelle… Only a fool would by fuel for $16 per gallon when it’s available for less than $4 per gallon every where else – unless you’re the government. Especially when you’re the government and you can legally steal taxpayer money to massively overpay for something (from Solazyme) that you’re buying from one of your campaign donors… The idea of a “payroll tax holiday” continues – ignoring the fact that Social Security has unfunded liabilities of trillions of dollars… Only in California can you sue the manufacturer of Nutella on the grounds that they made you think Nutella was good for you. Another gift to trial attorneys, compliments of the state of California… Since they weren’t satisfied after destroying public property and costing taxpayers millions upon millions of dollars in policing/security costs, the Occupy Wall Street protesters are now suing local governments… Shocker: the Obama administration’s “green energy program” was LOADED with politics in every decision – so says the Washington Post… Electricity bills are skyrocketing – just like Obama promised us… And, a warning of the rationing to come…
